Contemplating gratitude of trinkets, earth offerings, earth ambiance, people... And receiving Love.

This cool morning in the tree tops is body, mind and spirit time for me...

So many offerings with me today to support my quite connection time. I feel blessed as I look around and my eyes take in love from others. Historically speaking, receiving love was not my strong area. It was incredibly uncomfortable and I would numb out, leave my body or just physically leave. Giving came so much easier so I ran head on into that path. I became an RN, a yoga teacher, a massage therapist, yoga coach and a doula. I suppose I could take on a few more paths in the field of giving love but I'm happy with these ;) It took a lot of self reflection and honoring my weaknesses to get to a point where I could see my avoidance. And there the path went to learning to love that part of me. Fiona, my alien sister, you were magic in an Austrian package to me in our Forrest yoga training for this.

Here is my shout out of my personal gratitude for this life and this tribe of beauty-filled people I've bumped into along the way. My practice now is to SEE the love and FEEL it... It IS a practice for me and thank goodness it has gotten better with time! Because like most things we try to evolve out of... The breaking of a habit can feel very painful and difficult (Yoga Sutra 1.22 representing)

My current thank yous are being sent out into the vibrational land in honor of my current trinkets and the by my side blessings in this moment:

A journal I picked up with Amy Frasard in my heart while driving home from her celebration of life, a box of love from Iz Word magic land, a pretty blue lacrosse ball brought to me by the healing hands of Lisa Francine, “The ROLL”... An Ana Forrest deeply, intensely, therapeutic blessing, the yoga mat of my life from a heart friend and spirit traveler in my first TT.And some things I picked up along my ways; Sage, rocks, scents, pendulum, cold brew coffee and here practicing by my side... my Wild, Medicinal Grade Honey.

Oh how I love this journey... this moment... and all the moments that brought me here to right now

Thank you for the love that you ALL give

I respectfully acknowledge the land on which I live and work is the territory of O’odham Jewed, Akimel O’odham (Upper Pima) and Hohokam Nations.

I also honor and give thanks to my indigenous Cherokee, Celtic and Nordic ancestors, whose wisdom and medicine I am here to remember and carry.
